Huseyin Zeyd Koytak is a doctoral candidate in sociology at Syracuse University, specializing in immigration, race, ethnicity and cultural geography. Koytak is a sociologist who examines socio-spatial and discursive manifestations of inequality. His current research explores how the dominant forms of consumption and taste became racialized through federal housing policies in post-war America.
